Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Reviews Connected ("we", "us") provides the Google Business Profile connection used by the review-management apps Praising and HiFiveStar. This policy covers the Google data that flows through that connection. Each app's own privacy policy covers the rest of your account with that app.

2. The Google data we access

We access your Google data only after you sign in with Google and approve the connection. We then access:

• the Business Profile accounts and locations you manage, with each location's name and address;
• the reviews on those locations: star rating, review text, the reviewer's public name and the date;
• the replies already posted on those reviews.

We post, edit or remove a reply to a review only when you choose to from your app. We do not change your business details or publish posts.

3. How we use it

Only to provide the features you use in Praising or HiFiveStar: showing your reviews in one place, alerting you to new ones, helping you write replies, publishing the replies you choose, and reporting on your ratings over time. When you ask an app to draft a reply, the review's text is sent to an AI provider for the sole purpose of writing that draft.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

Reviews Connected's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

• we do not sell Google user data;
• we do not use it for advertising, or transfer it to data brokers or information resellers;
• we do not use it to develop, improve or train general AI or machine-learning models;
• no person at Reviews Connected reads it unless you ask us to (for example, in a support request), it is needed for security or to investigate abuse, or the law requires it.

5. Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that run the connection for us (hosting, databases, email delivery and AI drafting), only as much as each needs, and under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose data when the law requires it. We never sell it.

6. How we store and protect it

Your data is stored on access-controlled servers and travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. The access Google grants us is used only by the systems that provide your app's features.

7. How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep your Google data while your connection is active. To have your stored data deleted, email support@reviewsconnected.com; we delete it within 30 days of your request unless the law requires us to keep it.

8. Removing our access

Disconnect Google in your app's settings, or remove access at any time from the third-party apps page of your Google Account. Removing it there ends our access at Google's end.

9. Children

Reviews Connected is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will let you know through your app or by email.
